stumpy and tika haircuts

From tika and stumpy: "Thank you so much mom and dad, our ears were getting a little scruffy. I am smelling clean, and i'm not so hot anymore with all this fur gone."

Stumpy is sporting the mohawk, and Tiksters has some eyelashes. I love her bat ears! They're so silly looking.

So Bill and I were leaving to buy groceries one night and I laughed because I saw a plastic lizard on the wall. We looked at it and laughed for ten minutes then went grocery shopping. The next day we went to work then came home for lunch and we looked for our lizard. We really thought it was just a wall hanging or something, but it wasn't there. WE FELT LIKE IDIOTS. Every idea crossed our heads, someone stole it, the wind knocked it down, we didn't really see it. Of course we didn't even consider it was a real lizard. Its eyes had looked plastic it was even in the standard wriggle form that all plastic lizards are in. Then the next day we say him.
CRAZY EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is actually a mediterranean gecko that is nocturnal not native to AZ and has no eyelids (hence the plastic looking eyes ha ha ha ha ha) So now we see him almost every night in fact we caught him with his girlfriend necking on the wall downstairs. He lives in our wall light outside our door and is definately the coolest mascot ever. Good 'Ol Crazy Eyes.

Beautiful View From Our Apartment. Every Night!!!!!

Training in Arizona

These are Pictures of Superstition Springs Golf Course (within walking distance of the apartment) and GreyHawk (where Phil Mickelson trains during the winter). Pretty amazing and cheap thanks to the off season hotness between 100 and 110 right now. Muy Caliente!!!
GreyHawk par 3 bill smacked one within 10 feet on this 220 yrd toughie.

Amazing Tee pictures.

Both in the fairway pretty nice (of course bill only took a picture of when he outdrove me not the other times I was twenty yards further ha ha ha).

Brutal Bunkers

One of the prettiest and hardest tee shots on a par 4. Can't take driver you'll either come up short or run it through the fairway. Need to hit a good 3 or 4 iron and play it as a true dog leg. Clear the water at about 200 carry the bunker at 210 don't go through the fairway drop it short of 230 almost like an approach shot. Bill and I both nailed this one.

Training In Arizona Rocks. Don't worry I'm learning something in between golf rounds ha ha ha.

Father's Day 2009

It was a good Father's Day! Dad had to work the swing shift that night (the machines were not cooperating) and he got home around 8 a.m. I had brought the presents up and then moved them, he came looking around for me asking "Hey! Where did my presents go?!" ha ha.

Here's what he got:
Golf shirt, and shorts.

Family Picture Framed and a vinyl saying" Family, one of God's masterpieces.

After breakfast we, of course, went golfing!!!

On the way up to the Club we kept smelling something gross...my dad had stepped in some poop somewhere, GROSS!!!

It was cloudy and raining when we started so we had dressed for rain...it turned out sunny and warm!

I got to hang the picture up and put up the vinyl just last night.

...las vegas, here I come!!..

For my birthday present this year from the Gaye and Dave (Micah's parents) they are flying me down to Las Vegas so that I can see my sweet hubby for July 4th weekend!

Micah and me are now trying to figure out what to do in Las Vegas...we for sure want to go and see a show, does anyone have any suggestions?!?

Thank you so much Sr. Platts!

...darn wasps!..

After many years of not getting stung by a wasp--really years, when I was 10 years old I had some of those fashionable jelly shoes and a wasp was in my right shoe! --so back to the main story, I was going to get in the shower, as I was getting ready I turned, and "Ouch!" I looked down on my left leg, and there was the pest!!!!

I mean, seriously, I wasn't swatting at it, wasn't bugging it, and here the wasp goes and stings me!!!! But no worries, I took my anger and pain with a shoe and squashed him!!!!
I have hydrocortisone cream on, but you can see the red and the swelling.

A New Best Friend

Here is Miss Halle Oates, the cutest lil' thing. I love to talk with her, she's very mature for her age of 2 years old. The cutest thing is when you give her a hug, and she replies "Oh, I love you too."

She's such an ego booster too, "Cute shirt", or "You're so cute!"

Ellen and Joe have sure done one amazing job in raising this beautiful little girl! And yes, micah and me love spoiling her :)

Hmmm...what to do?

So me and micah have separated for the summer, we're coming up on the week mark :(

But here's what I've found out since Micah's been gone:

1. Go to bed early=wake up early

2. More housework gets done, no handsome distractions.

3. I think of what I can tell Micah when he calls at night

4. Golfing is getting better

5. Running with pups in the morning

6. Mow the lawn alot. Stupid rain.

7. Homework is alot harder without Micah.

8. I cook alot more

9. Facebook is more entertaining

So even though I'm cooking, and mowing the lawn, I would much rather trade all that for Micah being here with me!!! I'm so proud of him, and we're so grateful for the job that he has now.
