Oh Kairie girl. She sure is the princess living with Grandpa Kenny, Uncle Travis, and Uncle Ryan. But she'll always know she's number one in that household! I can't believe how much she's grown and is a real person now! She's recognizing faces and voices, and is giggling like crazy.
Poor baby, she lost her faux hawk! ha ha. It's long enough that Ashley can put it in lil pigtails, but I never got a picture of it :(

•Twilight: New Moon•
I enjoy the Twilight saga, read the books, saw the first one a week after it opened. I didn't think I would be waiting in line to get a seat at 10:30 p.m. for a 12:45 a.m. showing late Thursday/early Friday!
Jacque texted me randomly that she had found a couple of tickets, and if I was willing to go... hmmm, I debated with myself. I SHOULD be doing homework...ironing...cooking dinner for my hubby...but then again, I haven't had a "girl's night" in FOREVER!! So with a little of Micah encouraging, and me thinking "Ugh. That is so late...How will I make it past midnight?!" I went for it.
It was fun! Ok, ok, Jacque and me are a little bit older, have kind of been out of the High School loop for a little bit. But man oh man. All the giggling girls that were awe struck by Jacob's muscles (which you see a lot of in this movie) was too funny!! We were thinking to ourselves how that was exactly us a "couple" of years ago with all of our High School gals.
So with only a couple hours of sleep I'll be dragging through most of today. But it was totally worth it for some girl time! Thanks Jacque!!

Family Pictures
We had a GREAT time with Jacque doing our family photos. Jacque gave us two choices either downtown Salt Lake, or Midvale. Since Midvale was closer, and it wasn't warming up too quickly we headed on over.
Micah called this street "little Mexico" because it reminded him of his mission in Mexico. Plus there was more of a latino crowd around.
The pups did great too, they didn't run, Tika's bat ears kept going down because we kept saying "STAY" and she get's a little confused because she wasn't doing anything but staying. Stumpy...well he's just Stumpy, he doesn't really know what's going on at all times.
I love family pictures, my family wasn't too big on them when I was growing up so I'm an advocate for them. My dad and siblings get a little annoyed because I'm always bugging them about getting pictures taken together. I believe God sent me to my family as the 'Family Historian'. But they'll thank me later when we're older and they are showing their children/grandchildren what they have done, or looked like in the good ol' days ;)
Good thing I married a guy who will indulge me and sit in front of the camera for me with no complaints!

So I am a week behind Micah in the strep throat and sickness, luckily I work for a great employer that is really great on sick days. I just feel so bad because this is the 3rd time this Fall that I've been sick! Each time I get better I think to myself "Hmmm, I better go get the Flu shot" But when I call they tell me that they had just run out. Next year I'll go in way early.
Since I was at home, I got to get some much needed R&R and when I wasn't sleeping, I got to watch some movies. One of these movies was "UP" seriously the funniest movie I've seen in a long time. I even watched it again last night with Micah, who was laughing alot! The funny thing about Micah and I is that we laugh at different things....go figure.
So if you get a chance to watch UP, then you should!

STREP....Yuck...
Poor Micah! He started to feel really sick on Sunday, so luckily we had our new Doctor appointment this morning, and the conclusion was he had Strep throat. Poor guy, he's been laying and sleeping around the house, trying to fight it off. But he's got the medicine!
But he still wants to take the pups out, and help clean up messes (so cute, I think so anyways...) But other than that, our check-ups went well and we're all good to go until (cross our fingers) next year!
Another update is my brother Travis got home from back East!! We were so excited to see him that we drove up to Logan on Sunday to see the guy. Travee and me are seriously two-of-a-kind, so it's been hard to not talk to him face-to-face for 6 1/2 months. He'll be home for the Holidays, and then off to work again :( But he's making the money, so I can't complain too much that he's away (Oh...wait...yes I can!)
We had our family pictures on Saturday morning! Jacque has been with Micah and I since our wedding, she's become such a great friend over the past two years. She's such a fun photographer that can joke around just like us. She's the reason why we have miniature schnauzer's. Her dog, Bobby, is a beautiful salt and pepper mini schnauzer. BUT...when we were over on Saturday, Stumpy being all-that-is-man decided that Bobby's smell was all over everything in HER house, so he "marked" his spot....ON LOGAN'S (Jacque's hubby) GOLF BAG!!!! GRRRR!!!! Luckily golf bags are waterproof, and we got the resolve carpet cleaner out right away to wipe it off. They said it was ok, actually laughing, but being a golf family, it broke my heart. Seriously, he's never marked in our house, but when we're around other dogs, he's just programmed to "mark". Lesson learned, we will not be bringing him over to houses that have other dogs.
Jacque says she should have them ready next week, so make sure to check out her blog HERE.
The countdown has started! We are going to visit my mom in Arizona the day after Thanksgiving! We're all so excited to see her! We haven't seen her for awhile now, and I'll admit that I miss my "Mommy".
That's about it, sorry for such a long post...and I don't think I have any new pictures...so here's an old one....
Rasberry Days in Bear Lake 2008, my hair is so short!!
