Yeah :) Happy Birthday to America! and to me... ha ha. I flew to Las Vegas, courtesy of Micah's parents, and got there at 11:00 a.m. Micah picked me up and we were so happy to see eachother again!! So we had so much we wanted to do, neither of us had been to the Hoover Dam, so we headed out to see this amazing man made construction. We had to get some education in while we were there.
They are also constructing this HUGE bridge, that will supposedly cut traveling time in half, and it will be a 4 lane road. This bridge was Ginormous! I couldn't believe how they make these things. Looks way too scary for me to be up there bulding that bridge.
I have no idea why it was good fortune to rub these statues toes...but "When in Rome" as Micah says.
A security guard told us that they have atleast 4-5 suicide jumpers a year, we were curious because they have no guard rails on anything there. That's crazy!
We were both so pooped after the drive, and plane ride that we took a nap and then headed out for a night on the town! We had so much fun walking around, we both enjoy people watching (weird, we know) but people are just crazy in Las Vegas, making people watching a great activity. Here's us @ New York New York Hotel. We got to ride the rollercoast there, it was by far the funnest activity we did there!!
We stayed at the Hampton Inn, which I totally recommend because a suite costs as much as a regular hotel room on the strip, you don't have to wait as long for elevators, and you get a lounge chair at the pool!

4th of July we headed to the premium outlets, i love it there! We found some awesome deals, got some shoes, shorts, and shirts for Micah, some Oakley polarized sunglasses for me, pants, and a hat, and of course some yummy lunch.
That night we headed out on the strip again and it was crazy packed! We visited the M&M and Coke Factory. Heaven for both of us.
I LOVE M&M's. Our little friend Halle Oates knows this, as I give her 4 M&M's when we see her. She also remembers this, and asks in front of her mom (it wasn't me Ellen).
Typical Micah, I love his humor so much!
Race Car, that Micah had to get a picture with! He wanted me to pose like one of those race car girls with their bums touching the car, or something inappropriate. I refused. It was a family place. (He was totally joking)

The Coke Factory was fun, though not as fun as the M&M factory
We drove on the highway on July 4th and saw atleast 16 different firework shows going on. But since we're an old married couple, we went to bed at 11:00 p.m.
The next morning we layed out by the pool (check out time was 12:00, I love Las Vegas times) and we decided to go to the Luxor.
We also were walking around, and they had a lady standing out front asking people to come and watch their pilot tv shows, and we could get some money. So Micah convinced me to go and we watched a tv show of Female Cops of Florida. Pretty much a play off of all the other cops shows. But it was pretty interesting.
