Holidays!

Here's our little Christmas tree...and yes that is an acorn on top of the tree.

Here's our stockings that are homemade, since Stumpy has joined our family we got to make his this year. And yes, it's the Superman symbol. Why you may ask? Well those of you who haven't met our cute lil' Stumpy have something missing in your lives, you may not know it, but he's very special. As Travis puts it "He's a couple nuggets short of a Happy Meal." Travis also points out that if you haven't met Stumpy then you haven't been "Stumpified". Read more to find out what "Stumpified" really means.

Also we would like to thank Aunt Mer for making us the beautiful sign "Wise men still seek Him."

BAM! You have now been "Stumpified". No need for explanation after looking into these eyes.

Breakfast With Santa

We got a chance to break away from Cache Valley to have breakfast with Santa! Despite the bad weather, and the crazy people who were driving on the wrong side of the barrier in Sardine Canyon we made it there safe and sound :)
It was at the Grand America Hotel in SLC, and it was great to see Micah's family. The kids were hilarious with Santa and Mrs. Clause, you could sure tell on their faces how they were processing people dressed up that way...Poor Aspen immediantly gave Grandma Gaysie her plate of food, and asked if she could hold it while she ever so gracefully fled the room to safety.

Jeff dressed like an stuffy English Aristocrat...ha ha.

Micah's 25th Birthday :)

Happy Birthday Baby!! Since Micah had to work from 12:30-8:30 we had a late dinner, Micah got a ham, funeral potatoes, and salad dinner made my Grandma Afton. Then he got some presents: Skull Candy earphones from Travee, Armani Code cologne from Ma and Poo-Bear, a really funny card from Ash & Daris, the Calvin and Hobbes Tenth Anniversary Comic Book from me, and of course the birthday money from Grandma Afton, Karla, and Dad.

Puppy Love

Bath time! Tika and Stumpy don't really love the water, so they get into their positions when we put them in, it's just too funny.

My new sweet baby - Thorlee!

Ha ha ha, I got this website from our good friends Dan and Kristin. Our poor lil guy has flaming red hair...obviously from "Grandpa Kenny" ha ha. I don't see too much of me in this picture...or Micah either.

A Long Time Ago...

Good times. Here is Ryan Scott Jensen, born Oct. 5, 1990. I am on the very left with the pink striped shirt, Travis in front with his great suspenders, and Ashley is hidden behind Travis.

We laugh at this picture because my dad got to dress us up this day, as my mom recalls: "I was horrified when you all came in dressed like that! Nothing matching, and hair wasn't even done right. I got up that afternoon to come home." Dads reply: "What? There clean clothes."

Family Pictures!

We finally had the chance to get everyone together for some family pics. Jacque was of course ready with camera in hand to get a shot of everyone, even the puppy's came along (We got a mini schnauzer thanks to Jacque's pup, Bobbi).

We started out at Murray Park, but the lighting wasn't to Jacque's liking, so we headed to Wheeler Farm.

Ha ha, we love to have fun wherever we go. I think we were suppose to be doing the "Mod Squad", Micah was using my leg as a gun...

The Siblings: Travee, Me, Ry, and Ash.

The boys: Micah, Trav, Ryan, and Meryl.

Oooh, I love their guts! :)

Tika & Stumpy

Here's an update on our mini schnauzers: Tika is super fast! She runs circles around Stumpy, she is quite the spoiled dog when she hogs all the toys (doesn't agree with sharing), her tricks are: sit, stay, lay, roll, dance like a princess, army crawl, and shake.

Stumpy is just adorable. ha ha, he doesn't care much for toys he'd rather hang out with people, he also knows sit, stay, lay, roll, and jump. You can always count on Stumpy to warm your feet because he'd rather sit on the floor. He also has small-dog syndrome, he just doesn't know when to back down- even from the biggest dogs.

They are awesome dogs that keep us happy :)

New Littleones!

So we have had two new additions to our family, Micah's sister Brittany and husband Matt had Aliya Georgia October 1st, and my brother Chad and his wife had their little boy Dax Robert Arrington November 14th.
They are such little blessings! Here's pictures of these two lil munchkins! And welcome to the family :)

Halloween 2008!

Vote McCain and Palin! Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia

The big bad wolf followed poor little riding hood to the party!

The Phantom of the Opera even showed up to sing!

Here we have a witch and her broom (You can't see but he has written "My witch rides me")

And the winners are: Sarah Palin & John McCain (People's Choice Award), Luke and Leia (Best Pair Award), and High School Math Teacher & His Student (Craziest Award)

Carving Pumpkins!

We got a chance to get the married couples together to go get dinner at Center Street Grill, carve pumpkins and watch a scary movie! So thank you to Katie and Tommy Marcheschi, Joe Ellen and their little girl Halle for a great night!

Carving pumpkins was an adventure, we found out that the paper wasn't helping with the intricate details, and then Micah pulled out his drill so that it would be more efficient.

But it was a great night to relax and watch poor Halle being pulled around by Tika! Halle loves playing tug of war and she was just giggling away while being pulled around. She also loved the dog kennel and was in there alot trying to tell the puppy's to come in with her.

Micah's Mission Reunion

Yeah :) It was great to see so many of Micah's old mission buddies! I had a great time meeting everyone and hearing all the crazy stories of my dear husband!

Ryan's Golf Tournament

Everything is just getting so busy lately! Micah and I had the chance to go and watch Ryan in the state golf tournament down by Park City at Soldier Hollow. It was so intense! But Ryan had one awesome round and shot a 77- in fact he pulled through for the team and they go to go on to the second day (first time in 10 years!)

After the long day on the Gold course, which is no fun to walk around since its built into the mountain, we went out to one amazing pub like place. We ordered some pizzas and tacos, and couldn't wait to go and get some rest. In fact we even had sunburns at the end of the day!

Second day didn't go as well for Poo-Bear, in fact we don't mention that day...ha ha. But good thing is that Mountain Crest is one of the top 10 in Utah now. So I'm so excited that Ryan finished out his Senior year having an awesome Golf season.

One Year Anniversary!

It's been a year already, and I got spoiled! Micah surprised me with a new dyson vacuum (our other one broke), perfume, a locket, and a mattress to go along with our new King size bed :)

We headed down to Salt Lake City on Friday and stayed at the Little America, and then got to spend the day in Park City. We enjoyed some awesome tacos, got to go on the Alpine Coaster, went shopping at the outlets, and got to eat at Ruth Chris' Steak House. We were so worn out!

I am so lucky to have such an amazing husband who is so caring and thoughtful with everything. I got a chance to think about our wedding day and how much love and support was there, even now it's still going strong. A year to get to know someone is hardly anytime at all, I'm still learning about Micah everyday, but i can tell you some things: He loves orange juice, he hates cereal, he sleeps on his back when he's really tired, when he concentrates his mouth will open up, when i mention that something is broken he'll get up to fix it right away, he loves sour cream and cream of chicken mixed together, he's my walking jukebox, and he loves his wife and family :)

I'm just thankful that we've gotten through the first year, maybe a few bruises here and there, but we still have an adoring love toward one another!

Cache Valley Triathalon

GO BABE GO!!! Today Micah had an early start for his very first triathalon! He was amazing! It was such a neat experience to watch him train for this event, and then finally see him compete. He didn't do so bad either...placed 3rd in his division! Woo-hoo! He got a cowbell.

The next triathalon is coming up in August at Bear Lake, so he'll be training away again! Stay tuned for pics...

70's Birthday Party

For my mom's birthday party, we decided to throw a 70's party! It was awesome with some decorations, a chocolate fountain, some groovy music, a pooltable, and of course family!

When we were singing "Happy Birthday", Micah was holding the cake, and it slid off right onto the floor!! Ha ha it made the night even better :)

Check out my brother's costumes, we believed that they looked more like 70's hookers....but that's just us.
